Christmas and New Year’s holidays are over and the Design Biennal BIO 26| Common Knowledge is coming to an end. At the final guided tour you are going to find out everything about the Green Refuge project as associated programme of BIO 26, what we’ve learnt, what were our challenges and how many of our green protegees has found new permanent homes. This occasion is going to be an opportunity for everyone who has adopted a plant during the project at Ajdovščina underpass to meet each other and to collect your new green friends and take them to their new homes.
Abandoned Plants Sanctuary has made the effort to produce as homely environment as possible for their protégées over the holidays-in the basement passage in the centre of Ljubljana-by re-creating a fraction of a tropical rainforest. The processual experiment has taken the advantage of the given shabby space while-together with external collaborators and participants-at the same time introduced other natural elements into it.
