gnidoced-decoding
First we'll see the exhibition The Data and the Sovereign at Kresija Gallery, then we'll go to the Ajdovščina Underpass and learn about different forms of hidden alphabet codes. We'll decipher the encrypted records from the past and ask ourselves what do they serve. We'll talk about the current topic of protecting personal information online and in everyday life, and by using simple geometric shapes, we will also try to make our own cryptic alphabet.

The Data and the Sovereign, exhibited at Gallery Kresija between January 16 and February 9, was made in co-production of ZKM | Centre for Art and Media Karlsruhe, BIO 26 and Goethe-Institut Ljubljana. It looks at the abuse of data, which is nowadays no longer a stranger in the private sector or governments.
