In the exhibition, the author Tanja Pađan presents her clothing collection which draws inspiration from various subculture street trends of the 1990s. The collection weaves together a grunge-style pajamas/dressing gown, garments in the sporty and relaxed hip-hop style as well as clothing inspired by the techno underground movement. It reflects the time of adolescence, the period between childhood and adulthood, the returning past, a journey through time.
The Reflective Future collection reflects the style of times past while altering it enough to achieve a style update. Our present acts as a pastiche of the past, and therefore, this collection serves as a guide to an indefinite time yet to come, as a time capsule to the future.
